Resources available to middle school educators and students are similar to those available to younger students, but begin to offer a wider variety of options, and more challenging opportunities.  The same high quality educational resources and aids are available for teachers to inform them of potential future career opportunities in aerospace for young students, to provide additional resources to be used in the classroom to enhance their learning experience in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.  There are similar resources for teachers to refer children and their parents to in order to provide the students with greater exposure to fun and interesting information intended to enhance their learning experience, as well as to stimulate interest in the exciting aerospace field.

Many of these resources are sponsored and/or administered by government or commercial organizations. In addition to programs like the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education’s (MBRT) Website, “Be What I Want to Be”, there is “Project Lead the Way.” Project Lead The Way is an educational program that helps give middle and high school students the rigorous ground-level education they need to develop strong backgrounds in science and engineering.

Each of the links below provide resources for middle school educators, and most provide additional highly informative links to further information.
